Okay, so as most everyone who's ever RP'd with me knows, I like to push the envelope. Like, try new things, see what the limits are, discover what the world of roleplay has to offer. I'm like the test subject of the RP world. And I'm truly grateful to the MJR staff for allowing me to do such, but I have one question.
How far am I allowed to go?
Like, I know what the limitations laid out in the rules are, i.e. no explicit adult content, but what is considered taboo on the site? What areas of the human psyche am I not allowed to explore? I only ask because I know the Games are fast approaching, and if my twins are chosen to compete, which I hope they are (hint hint), I want to use the Games as a time for revelation for both of them.
I don't know about anyone else, but I know that every time I fill out a new character sheet, I have a set of specific plot points that I want that character to hit before it's retired. Well, my time for the Wood twins is more than likely quickly running out. My point is, there are places I would like to go with Dune and Layke that I would not normally consider going, and I need to know if I should abandon the plot before I get past the point of no return, or if I'm clear to test even more boundaries.
Any sort of reply is appreciated. To anyone who can provide an answer, please don't feel like you'll offend me if you say I can't use the plot. If anything, I'd much rather be told no, then be told yes and then have someone else offended by the content I have planned. It's not something I wish to discuss openly, as I'd like to keep it a surprise if my boys get tapped as Tributes, but I will discuss it in PM's with anyone curious about it.
