General Appearance: Janus is all about blending in. He shuts up (not that hard to do), does what he’s told, and just generally keeps his head down. Janus is a bigger kind of guy, with some pretty decent muscle definition. He bulked up a lot after his time in the Capitol. Jay’s face is almost always held in an angry sort of expression, one that conveys both ferocity and deep thought. His skin is marred from several battles, one of his most distinct scars running under his eye and across his cheekbone. He prefers to keep everything about his person clean, cut, and in check. Less for his superiors to get on his case on.
How They Act
Personality: On the outside, Janus is calm, quiet, and collected. He prefers to keep to himself. The less people that know about him, the better. In short, he’s the perfect worker drone: Does what he’s told, does it right the first time, doesn’t ask questions, doesn’t talk back. He’s everything the Rebels could ever ask for rolled up in one nice, convenient little package, right?
WRONG
On the inside, Janus is filled with a blinding hot rage towards the Rebels. It was them, the old them, the Capitol, that made him an Avox. And he would make them suffer for it. The true Janus is a vindictive soul, one filled to the brim with anger and resentment. He’s also quick on his feet, and good with his intellect, both skills that have moved him up in the Rebel’s ranks, getting him ever closer to his ultimate goal: Taking them down for good.

Past and Family
History: Janus’s family was poor. Well, poor by Capitol standards, which was still exponentially more wealthy than a lot of the people in the Districts. But, because his twin brother Trism was born with a mental defect that required constant medical and parental attention, all of his parents time and money went into his brother. Not that Janus really minded. He was a loner from the start.
By the time he was 15, Janus realized that he would have to make his own way in the world. He tried everything he could think of, but nothing ever panned out. This continued on until about age 19, which was when President Snow found him. Snow offered Janus a job, an offer he couldn’t refuse. The price? That Snow had the power to “rent out” Janus’s body as he saw fit. In short, Janus became a Capitol Prostitute.
Finally, after years of forced sex with random strangers, Janus rebelled. Snow took this rebellion and forced it against Janus, cutting out his tongue and making him an Avox. He also signed an order to have Janus’s family killed. After Snow’s execution at the hands of the Mockingjay, Janus caught wind of a rebellion forming, one that followed the old ways of the Capitol. Not wanting anyone to face his same fate, Janus joined the Rebels in hopes of destroying them from the inside out.
