General Appearance: Alex has an honest look, and many girls find that to be his most attractive quality. His smile is charming but without being cocky. His biggest issue with girls is that they only consider him as an amazing friend, never anything more. He is generally very kind, or more so than your average guy. He has a thin figure but he’s toned (lol, abs). If you were to judge him on the way he presented himself, many people would say that he looks like a ‘good guy’ or a ‘nice guy’ that you could want to get to know better.
How They Act
Personality: Alex would do anything for a friend. Of course, this leads to too many people taking advantage of him, which is obviously unfair but he doesn’t take it personally. It’s just who he is to be welcoming towards most people. He isn’t always happy, just most of the time. He’s willing to fight for what he needs without being hostile. Ironically, Alex spends time training in combat skills in the chance of being kidnapped by the rebels. He actually began to enjoy physical fighting, and sometimes it makes him feel powerful and more forceful (on rare occasion). He is also a hopeless romantic which doesn’t earn him many guy friends. Girls usually flock by his side trying to become his best friend but most of them end up asking him if he’s gay and when he says ‘no’ things get awkward and just start to crumble.

Past and Family
History:
Alex was born 5 years after his older brother, Mark. They didn’t have a healthy relationship. Mark would beat and bully Alex. Alex figured it was normal since his brother never received much punishment for it, so it was engraved in his mind that he had to try very hard to be good to people and if they abused him for it then he had to live with it. This was not good for anyone in the family His parents were never a big part of his childhood because they were never really around.
As Alex grew, and so did Mark’s torture. Alex would be seen with big bruises and scars. This made him seem important when people noticed somehow, but he didn’t want their sympathy or pity. If they didn’t care enough to stop it as it happened then they shouldn’t have cared after the storm hit. Alas, Alex still seems to resort back to his friendly disposition. This just left Mark all the more furious, leading to beatings far worse. When Alex tried to defend himself or fight back was when the assaults grew nearly fatal. Of course, his parents stepped in only then. When Mark turned 18 their parents threatened to send him away if he hurt Alex again. Mark ended up going away, but not in the sense they were looking for. Mark became a rebel at age 19, abandoning the family. It had come as a relief towards Alex who’d been tormented for 14 years. He never understood why Mark hated him so much, though he thought about it constantly. Alex still lives in fear that he’ll come face to face with his brother again and that Mark will be too strong for him.
When Alex turned 16 he had heard that his father was sick. Considering they had their children at and old age and 5 years apart, Alex expected no less. His father had a hearing impairment, respiratory disease, and minor visual impairments. His mother clinged to his dad at once and never left his side which Alex felt was ironic and offensive. His world changed from then on. Suddenly they needed him all the time. They needed him to provide for the family, care for his father and comfort his mother. Alex had never been so depended on before, so he made sure to do his best job possible. This encouraged his helpful and friendly mind-set which was not such a bad quality in Alex.
