Our plot begins after the first book of The Hunger Games Trilogy. Katniss and Peeta have just returned to District 12 after being crowned the victors of the 74th Hunger Games. They are shortly about to depart on their Victory Tour. However their victory, despite upsetting President Snow, has done little to change the way in which the Districts are treated by the Capitol... Or so it appears.
The 75th Hunger Games will take place as normal, not with the Victors competing a second time, but with the Tributes names being selected at random. While Katniss and Peeta attempt to settle back into a normal routine, the rest of the citizens are forced to face the prospect of having to follow in their footsteps. Their victories may have given citizens hope for a short period, but they are in danger of gradually becoming just another two winners. Their victory just another chapter in Panem's history, something which will be forgotten with the dawn of next year’s Games. Despite all of this there is rebellion brewing amongst some of the Districts. Their possible success largely depends on how the Victors fair on their Victory Tour, though it is looking as though the odds are not in their favour.
You will have to choose: will you live the life of luxury amongst the citizens of the Capitol? Will you live among the Districts and accept your fate, or will you embrace rebellion? Will you be representing your districts at the Games next year?
People are still scared. People are still paying for their past. For a lot of people little has changed. It's just the same old debt to face.
