Hair: Copper's name is the exact description of her hair. It is rather frizzy and falls just past her shoulder-blades. The brownish red curls are usually pinned back with bobby-pins, or kept in a simple pony-tail.
Eyes: When her eyes aren't covered by her reading glasses (which are almost always on her face), it is easier to see that they have a piercing gray color. The lenses often soften the color, but when she's trying to get her point across, she usually takes them off.
Height: 5'6"
Weight: 125 lbs
Dress Style: Copper tends to wear jeans and a fitted t-shirt. It's lightweight and comfortable, and she has very little time (or money) to worry about fashion, even if it's just the style of her district.
General Appearance: Copper had never been a social person, so she had never really cared about how she looked. Is she hygienic? Of course. She keeps herself clean and decently dressed, but she rarely puts out the effort to make herself look good. Naturally, she carries herself well since she doesn't care what others think.
Many people wouldn't be able to pick Copper out from a crowd. She is always invisible, and isn't considered attractive to many guys, though that's mostly because she doesn't take the time to try. Her hair can be ridiculed by many other girls because of it's frizzy-ness, and her clothing is often made fun of as well.
How They Act
Personality: Stereotypically, Copper would be considered the nerd type. She cares very little for her looks, and wouldn't stand out in a group of people if it weren't for her intelligence. She loves to read and study ancient cultures from their religion to their technology.
Copper is quite conceited at times, thinking that she knows everything when, while she does know a lot, she can be quite oblivious to certain details. She's bright and a skilled problem solver, though she lacks physical strength and speed. She is rather self centered around strangers, but is caring towards those she considers friends (IF she ever has any). Her stereotypical "red-head temper" is also prominent. She hates being insulted, especially when it comes to knowledge on any subject.

Past and Family
History: At birth, Copper's mother died. She had always been sickly, and, because of the Capitol's control at the time, never had proper care.
As a young child, Copper was told stories about the Greeks and Egyptians by her father. He always went into great detail about the ways the Egyptians protected their pyramids, and how the Mayans did the same with their temples. The subject had always fascinated Copper, but his death from the rebellion caused her to study it intently in his memory.
After the rebellion and a new government, Copper was sent to live with a foster family with several other orphaned children. She spent years locked up in her room studying the ancient cultures, mathematics, biology, and anything else she could get her hands on. She was forced to start spending time outside of school and her room, but she always has a book with her.
