Gotham hadn't been having any luck fishing off the shore the past few days and today was't looking anymore promising. With his weapon fishing untensil of preference Gotham scoured the water looking for a decent fish. His left arm firmly held the trident and with a quick fluid movement he flung the trident into the water piecering a fish with the outer left spoke. His fish was a decent size but it was a guppie compared to the fish that the person next to him had just wrestled out.
He knew he was supposed to be here to enjoy himself but tanning in the sun wasn't something Gotham was comfortable with. Gotham didn't have a beach bod that he was proud of. The crippled arm wasn't just a let down to him but to most people who saw him from afar.
.The sun was hot and even with his tan skin reflecting the suns rays Gotham still felt the burn on his back. It was times like these he wished he was a fan of wearing shirts. Gotham felt that shirts were to restricting and opting to go shirtless just seemed like the logical solution. So he pulled off the muscle shirt and tossed it to the ground.
Suddenly Gotham spotted a winning fish. Gotham struck it rapidly and stabbed a moster of a catch. This was one of the rare occasions that he smiled. It was natural and genuine. The smile was big enough to make the dimples on both sides of his cheeks appears. Gotham harldy ever smiled since the accident that left his right arm noticeably thinner than his left.
He wasn't counting for the fish to be a fighter but then again he had on stabbed it in the lower tail part. It flailed and with one arm Gotham struggled to keep it in caught while not losing his balance. He tried to reposition his feet but it was to late. With his left hand on the trident and the other too handicap to break his fall his head hit a nearby rock and he blacked out for about 30 seconds. The taste of saltwater in his mouth and smell up his nose awoke him. His head ached and his vision blurred but he could see the silhouette of someone rushing to help. this all he needed another accident.
