Looks Like:
Picture: CLICK
Playby: Chace Crawford
Hair: Longish for a guy, brown, kinda feathery and flared at the ends.
Eyes: Storm grey (right) and Sky blue (left), both a roundish almond shape
Height: 5’10”
Weight: 173 lbs
Dress Style: Dune dresses casually most days: Jeans, tee shirt, jacket, and a ring on a string, the last remaining token he has of his birth mother.
General Appearance: Dune looks...nothing like his parents. Or, the parents he’s known. He’s got kind of a rugged, but boyish look to him, something that drives all the girls wild. Not that he cares. Dune is very conservative in his persona, liking to keep everything to himself.
He’s normally seen with a guitar strapped to his back. Dune’s movements are very controlled and precises, a result of his upbringing in District 1, the Capitol’s favorite child, so it were. He’s put on some muscle from years of involuntary Career training.
His skin is tan from constant sun, because he likes to hang out outside to play his guitar, and it’s lightened his hair a bit. Not a lot, but a bit. His eyes tend to throw people through a loop, so he wears shaded glasses almost all the time to cover them up.
How They Act
Personality: Dune keeps to himself, most of the time. Despite being one of the Mayor’s two sons, he’s not like most of the people in his district. He’s calm, quiet, and introverted, finding solace in playing music on his guitar, one of the only few left from before the Dark Days. He doesn’t do much with the other kids his age, not like his brother Marvel did before he was sent into the Games with her.
Dune isn’t fond of the Games, at all. He hated them to begin with, hated them when the Mockingjay was around, and hated them afterwards. His hatred of the games is geared towards three people: Katniss Everdeen, the Mockingjay, his “brother” Marvel, and his long time friend: Samantha Silk.
Dune also doesn’t do love because of Samantha. She was the only girl he ever loved, and the only girl he ever will love. Girls may throw themselves at him left and right because of his dark and broody personality and rugged tomboyish looks (neither of which he’s actually aware of), but he doesn’t care, because he

Past and Family
History: It was a dark and stormy night (No, seriously) when a baby was left on the steps of the Justice Building in District 1. The following morning, when Mayor Velvet Sparks walked into work, he found that baby. Attached was a ring, and a note that read just one word: Dune.
Mayor Sparks and his wife took the baby in and raised him like their own, as a younger brother to their own son, Marvel. Both boys trained intensively for the games, but neither went, until Marvel was chosen for the 74th. When Katniss Everdeen from District 12 killed him, that created within Dune, named for the word on his note a burning hatred for the games. He’d continue to hate the Games for years to come.
While in District 1, he met a girl named Samantha Silk. He fell for her, and was sure she felt the same way, but both were scared to do anything about it for fear of ruining their friendship. When the Rebels kidnapped her for the Games, the burning hate in Dune began to grow. And then she was killed. That was the final straw for Dune. He shut down, ceased to be himself. A few years of silent reflection healed him a bit, but he was never again the bright shining boy he once was.
The day Samantha’s death was televised was the day his parents told him he wasn’t theirs. He had always suspected, considering he looked nothing like the rest of his family, but none of them knew where he came from. So he did some soul searching around the Districts. That’s when he found him: a boy that looked almost exactly like him in District 4. Upon further investigation, it turned out that Dune was a twin to this boy from 4, and that he’d been left in 1 the night they were born. The boy didn’t know, and his parents--Dune’s birth parents--forbade Dune from ever telling him, and from ever seeing his brother Layke.
Now, Dune only hopes that he gets a chance to meet Layke, before either of them are kidnapped for the Games, as Dune is sure they will be.
Family: Riven Wood, biological father, District 4
Lilli Wood, biological mother, District 4
Mayor Velvet Sparks, Father, District 1
Sapphire Sparks, Mother, District 1
