Dress Style: Black. Black make-up, black clothes, and black shoes. She dresses nicely because she is expected to.
General Appearance: Ruby does not fit in withe anyone from District 1. Most people there wear bright colors, pastels, and light make-up. She does what no one else there will do, wear black.
She stands out like a sore thumb in the crowds that roam her streets. People whisper and question her motives. Children point and adults frown.
Her lovely looks are more enhanced than hidden by her choice of clothes. The dark colors make her light blue eyes and golden hair stand out. Her milky white skin looks like satin in contrast to all the black.
Ruby is beautiful. That is the only word to explain her. She tries her best to be the opposite of from the normal stereotypical District 1 girl. The only thing that could possibly mar her beauty is her attitude.
How They Act
Personality: Ruby likes to be center of attention. She likes everyone to look at her. Most of them already would because of her gentle face and dainty frame. Now they do more in disgust than admiration.
She hates her mother. The woman demands that Ruby do exactly what is expected of a "lady" and Ruby believes she is a Rebel. So, being rebellious toward her mother, Ruby does the exact opposite. She is loud, not proper, dates "bad boys", and goofs around in public. Actually she does everything her mother insists she doesn't do and more.
Ruby loves to fight. It's what earns her the bad reputation she is famous for. She has gotten in trouble for beating up boys and girls alike. Mostly for them insulting her. Ruby doesn't like being insulted and she isn't afraid to get revenge.
Ruby hates the Rebels. She hates what they stand for. She hates all the pain they cause for nothing. She hates that they kill children. If she has anything that she really wants to do that is to take down every single rebel and make them bleed.
Ruby loves her little sister, Emerald. The young girl follows her around like a puppy, imitating everything Ruby does. She wants to be just like Ruby. Ruby would do ANYTHING to protect her.

Past and Family
History: Garnet was a jeweler in District 1. Her was famous for his beautiful works of art, that were his jewelry. That's how he and Henrietta met.
Henrietta was a spoiled Capitol girl. She had convinced herself that she had to have a necklace made by Garnet, the famous jeweler. No other piece would do. So, she traveled to District 1 with permission from the Capitol (after lots of persuasion)
At first site Garnet fell in love. Henrietta was normal compared to all the others he had met from the Capitol. All she had were a few beauty enhancements. *cough breast and ass implants cough*
He immediately started to give her his best pieces, ones no one could afford. Henrietta enjoyed getting all the wonderful things he gave her. She also knew that she would get more if she seduced him. Unfortunately for Henrietta, after their "romance" she became pregnant with Ruby.
Ruby was a mistake in Henrietta's eyes. She had to now marry the man she had no intentions of actually being with. Garnet had no idea and his delusion was further enforced by the birth of their second daughter, Emerald.
Ruby and Emerald were inseparable coming up. The girls were better friends than sisters. They were both shocked and devastated when Garnet mysteriously died.
Garnet was a firm supporter of District 13. He raised his girls as Career tributes. Teaching them swordplay, knife throwing, and how to shoot a bow. When he died Ruby took to filling his footsteps and Henrietta took all his money. That was when Ruby started to hate her mother.
After 13 won the war life got even worse. Henrietta started to disappear. She outwardly began to hate District 13. So Ruby rebelled against her. To this day that is what she does.
